Hello students and families of 21st Century Preparatory School! I am excited to begin by first of year of teaching in 2nd grade. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin Parkside with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education. I had the honor of doing clinical hours at 21st Century in the Spring of 2024 and the came back to student teach with 4k in 2025. I am so happy to be back to teach the awesome kids that we have and to connect with the families.
As your new teacher, my top priority is to make sure you feel safe, loved, and supported every day. When students feel heard, valued, and have a true sense of belonging, they are able to learn and grow to their fullest potential. My goal is to create a welcoming classroom where you can thrive—and to make this the best year yet here at 21st Century!
In my free time I enjoy being outdoors. I love going to my grandmas cabin up north and going boating, tubing, skiing, and relaxing. I love to travel, the most recent trip to Jackson, Wyoming, where I went and hiked the Grand Tetons and visited Yellowstone National Park. I enjoy learning new things that can be integrated into lessons and I can share with my students.
When I’m not at school, I love spending time at home with my cat and watching movies. I’m recently engaged and so excited to begin this new chapter of my life. I also enjoy relaxing with a good book—especially on warm, sunny days.
