Hello students and families of 21st Century Preparatory School. I am excited to begin my fourth year here as your 7th and 8th grade English teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. It is always an honor to be a part of the lives of our students. I look forward to building more positive relationships with my students as well as their families this school year.
As one of your new teachers, my priority is to make sure you feel loved and safe while you are with me so you are able to learn in the best environment possible. If my students do not feel heard, valued, and have a sense of belonging, they cannot learn at their highest potential. My goal is to make this the best year yet here at 21st Century!
Prior to coming to 21st Century School, I was a 5th and 6th grade English teacher for two years at Hope Via. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in English. I will continue to learn and grow each and every day in order to provide the best learning environment possible for my students.
When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I have a 3 1/2 year old little boy named, Carter. My husband and I spend our weekends taking Carter to his sports. I love watching Disney movies, playing with our dog, Scout and spending time outside!
