Action steps to address deficiences include acquiring instructional materials to support new curriculum standards; teacher training on instructional materials, including publisher training on new text adoptions; professional development time for teachers; continued development of Common Core State Standards aligned curriculum in the areas of mathematics, ELA, and science;  staff training in analysis of data, use for instructional planning, and differentiation/modification/accomodation; and board review of licensure and strengths of the teachers, and strategically placing personnel to maximize student achievement.
