As a public school, the 21st Century Preparatory School is open to any age-appropriate students living within the Racine Unified School District boundaries. Students that will be in PK4 through 8th grade for the school year 2009-2010 may register. Students must be four years old by September 1st to be eligible for PK4 and must be five years old by September 1st to be eligible for Kindergarten. We do not offer placement testing for children younger than the minimum age requirement.
OPEN ENROLLMENT DATES : The official open enrollment dates for the 2011-2012 school year will be from Monday, January 31, 2011@ 8:00 a.m. through Friday, February 28, 2011 @ 4:00 p.m. Please stop by the school office and pick up an enrollment form during the hours of 8:00- 4:00. Each form will need to have attached a copy of the student’s immunization record to be accepted. Please bring athe child's birth certificate as proof of age. Copies cannot be made of this document, so the parent will have to come in, in person, with this document and review the information with school personnel.
LOTTERY DATE: All new enrollments will be placed in our lottery. Each grade level will have a separate waiting list. The names of students will be pulled out one by one and placed on the waiting list for that particular grade level. This is the list the school will pull from when an opening occurs in a grade level. The lottery date is: Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. in the school theater. Parents need not be present. Notification of lottery results will be mailed home within a week thereafter. We ask for your patience and that you please refrain from calling the school for immediate results.
Students will not be pulled from this list until the first business day after the last day of school in June, 2011. You will be notified when there is an opening that we need to fill. Please contact Doreen Daniels at 262-898-1169 with any questions or concerns.
