Wisconsin Association for Talented Award Winner!

Each year, the Wisconsin Association for Talented and Gifted seeks to honor those who have made an impact in Wisconsin to further the quality education of gifted children. These awards are presented at the Fall Conference held annually in October. On October 10, our Director of Educator Effectiveness, Jennifer Petruska, was honored as the Gifted Educator of the Year.  Prior to joining the 21st Century Preparatory School family, Jennifer served as the Gifted and Talented Coordinator for Riverview School in Silver Lake, Wisconsin for nine years. In her time there, she increased gifted and talented services for students in kindergarten through eighth grade, led professional development on differentiation and data analysis, collaborated with and coached teachers, coordinated several family nights each year, and added multiple extracurricular enrichment opportunities for all students.  She plans to bring her experiences to 21st Century Preparatory School to increase student learning for all students. Congratulations, Ms. Petruska!
